On this time, the AMK blog will share about What if the Anime Character Doraemon Came to Life. Have you ever been engrossed in watching your favorite anime series and suddenly imagined: "What if this character suddenly appeared in the real world?" Of course, it would be fun, or even terrifying, hehe. But don't worry, it's just the character.
Many anime characters can now be visualized with human-like faces, expressions, and details using AI (artificial intelligence) technology. Even in 2D form, many fans are amazed and curious about what they would look like if they actually lived in the real world.
For your information, Doraemon is a Japanese cartoon, also known as anime, that is very popular worldwide. Created by Fujiko F. Fujio in 1969, it has received numerous awards and is one of the best-selling media franchises of all time.
It tells the story of a blue robot cat named Doraemon who can produce magical tools or objects from his 4-dimensional pocket. He comes from the future, namely the 22nd century, and is sent by Sewashi Nobi, Nobita's future grandson, to assist his great-grandfather in his efforts to change the future of the Nobi family so that his descendants can have a better life.
The Doraemon anime or cartoon features various unique characters with iconic and easily recognizable designs. From Doraemon to Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo, Giant, and others. Well, here is a list of some Doraemon anime characters in the real world according to the AMK blog:
1. Doraemon
Doraemon is a robot manufactured by the Matsushiba Robot Factory in 2112, codenamed MS-903, a defective product, and adopted by the poor family of Sewashi Nobi. His favorite food is dorayaki. He was originally yellow and had ears, but they were later destroyed by a rat, which terrified him, leading to a phobia of rats. He attempted to regrow his ears, but instead used the wrong liquid, causing the paint to fade back to its original blue color.
Doraemon possesses many sophisticated gadgets and objects from the future, which he stores in his 4-dimensional pocket. These include a door to anywhere, a bamboo propeller, a small flashlight, and others, which he usually uses to help Nobita with his problems.
2. Nobita
Nobita is the main protagonist in the Doraemon series. He usually wears a yellow shirt and dark blue shorts, has straight black hair, black eyes, and large round glasses. He is a failure at everything, lazy, often late to school, doesn't do his homework, often gets zero marks on tests, and is often scolded by his mother for hiding his bad grades. Despite Nobita's bad personality, he is a kind and generous person to others. Until Doraemon arrives from the 22nd century to help him so he can have a better future in life.
3. Shizuka
Shizuka, also known as Shizuka-chan, is a smart, kind, and beautiful girl. She often wears pink clothes and is seen wearing a pink shirt and skirt. The word "Shizuka" means "calm." She is Nobita's best friend and in the same class as Nobita, despite knowing that Nobita always fails at everything. She never avoids Nobita. In fact, Shizuka often tries to encourage him to do better, though she usually fails to convince him. Shizuka likes to bathe several times a day, usually takes piano lessons, plays the violin, and has a favorite food: sweet potatoes.
4. Takeshi Gouda
Takeshi Gouda, also known as Giant, is a character whose height, size, build, and physical strength make him a strong, tall, and muscular student. He is Nobita's classmate and usually accompanies Suneo. Takeshi is easily angered, prone to violence when his demands aren't met, and often borrows other children's belongings (especially Nobita and Suneo's). Furthermore, Gian loves singing and dreams of becoming a singer who appears on TV, often forcing his friends to watch his concerts, even though her voice is terrible and loud. He deeply loves his younger sister, Jaiko, and is willing to do anything to make her happy.
5. Suneo Honekawa
Suneo Honekawa is a rich kid in the Doraemon series. He has a fox-like appearance inherited from his mother and likes to flaunt his material wealth in front of everyone, especially Nobita, although deep down he sometimes feels sorry for him. He is often seen with Gian and is actually very annoyed with him for frequently borrowing his toys and not returning them. He is spoiled, easily gives up, narcissistic, and fearful, and dreams of becoming a famous designer.
6. Hidetoshi Dekisugi
Hidetoshi Dekisugi is Nobita's classmate and love rival due to his close relationship with Shizuka. Dekisugi is the polar opposite of Nobita. He is extremely intelligent and diligent, capable of anything, consistently getting 100s in class and excelling in sports. His family appears to be wealthy, owning a large house. His name literally means "brilliant achiever," and his last name is a play on dekisugiru, meaning "higher achiever." Shizuka sometimes prefers Dekisugi's company, who is more intellectually equal. Nobita often feels jealous and asks Doraemon for help to separate them or to get Shizuka's attention. However, Dekisugi never gets angry with Nobita and is even willing to help Nobita whenever he has philosophical or scientific questions. Dekisugi is kind, polite, and respectful, and will never argue or blame anyone, even in the most ridiculous situations. Instead, he will always say something positive to lighten the mood.
7. Nobita's Teacher
Nobita's Teacher is a strict, unnamed elementary school teacher at Nobita's school who frequently scolds Nobita for not completing his homework, arriving late to school, forgetting his homework, falling asleep in class, and getting bad grades on his tests. He sometimes tries to encourage Nobita through kindness in studying and not getting a zero, and sometimes uses punishments that range from making Nobita stay in the hallway or cleaning the classroom windows alone after school. There are two versions of the name of the Doraemon series: in the NTV anime, his name is given as Ganari, and in the TV Asahi version, his name was Eiichirou Senjou.
8. Mr. Kaminari
Mr. Kaminari is an old man who lives next door to where Nobita and his friends play. Baseballs and baseballs are often seen breaking Kaminari's windows or destroying one of his favorite bonsai plants or his plants.
9. Nobita's Mother
Tamako Nobi is Nobita's mother. She often scolds him for poor test scores and not doing his homework, but she is actually a kind mother and cares deeply for her son.
10. Nobita's Father
Nobisuke Nobi is Nobita's father. He works as a regular office worker and is often seen coming home from work to appease Tamako's anger towards Nobita. He has difficulty quitting smoking and is self-conscious about his inability to pass his driving test. He also has a poor memory, is an alcoholic, and sometimes comes home drunk from late-night business meetings. He shares many personality traits with Nobita when he was younger, such as getting poor grades, being poor at athletics, and being scolded by his father. Nobisuke likes Nobita and may not scold him as much as Tamako because many of Nobita's incompetence and weaknesses remind him of his own childhood mistakes.
11. Dorami
So, this post is about some Doraemon Characters If They Were Real, according to the AMK blog. Actually, there are still many other characters, maybe I will add them another time. Thank you, I hope this is useful.
